Frank Oggeri was Born in 1958 in NYC and his family moved to Huntington Long Island at the young age of five. At the age of six his parents enroll him in art classes at the Heckscher Museum of Art in his home town of Huntington and there no looking back. From elementary school thru high school fine art and painting was at the core interest for his reason for being at school.
His art portfolio from high school awarded Frank the opportunity of a lifetime and a scholarship to study fine arts at Parson School of Design in NYC, it was there that he Majored in Graphic design/photography and Painting. Frank was an accomplished and award-winning student, graduated with honors in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. After graduating Frank’s professional Career in the graphic arts took off and offered him the opportunity as a designer / creative director to work with and manage creative teams for clients such as Heineken, SC Johnson, Kellogg’s, PepsiCo, Starbucks, The Hershey Company and Grand Marnier, to name a few.
From 1980 until now Franks priority and focus was in the commercial art world and raising a family but he always managed to find the time to continue to pursue his love of painting landscapes and still lifes. He continues to paint and study painting by taking classes at the Art Students League in New York city and drawing classes at the Silvermine Arts Center in Connecticut. Frank is also an adjunt professor teaching Communication design at Fashion Institute Of Technology (F.I.T.) in NYC
